Accommodation in schools and gyms
Once again this year, the Steglitz-Zehlendorf district authority has kindly made several schools and gyms available to us for overnight accommodation for participants and for the games. The possibility of holding the Pentecost Tournament again depends on the proper use of these facilities.
Important rules
Participant card as a prerequisite
Only tournament participants who are in possession of a participant card type A or B and can show it to the supervisors on request are permitted to stay overnight in the accommodation. The tournament management will carry out checks and reserves the right to take further measures.
Deposit (accommodation) for each team with a participant card
For each participating team with a participant card, a deposit of 50 EURO must be paid at the tournament office on arrival. All accommodation must be cleaned and vacated by 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Before the final departure, the supervisor will check that the rooms are in good condition and will return the deposit against receipt.
The deposit will not be returned to the tournament management, but to the respective janitor or the accommodation guard!
Cleanliness and cleaning of the accommodation
All participants are obliged to keep the premises clean. Cleaning equipment and garbage bags are to be obtained from the supervisor.
Consumption of food and drink
Smoking or the consumption of alcoholas well as the consumption of meals in the accommodation and sports halls is strictly prohibited. Barbecues are prohibited on the entire school grounds.
Avoidance of noise/disturbance
All tournament participants and teams are expected to behave appropriatelyin public areas. In particular, silence must be maintained from 22:00. The local population would like to enjoy their well-deserved rest during the Whitsun holidays.
Disregard of rules
There is round-the-clock supervision in every accommodation, whose instructions must be followed at all times.
As we have received an increasing number of complaints from schools in recent years, we would like to expressly point out that disregarding the above rules can lead to the IMMEDIATE EXCLUSION of the entire team from the tournament and the withholding of the deposit.
Possible accommodation
The accommodation will be located in the Berlin-Zehlendorf district. The exact details can only be announced shortly before the start of the tournament.
