Participation in the Zehlendorf Pentecost Tournament is at your own risk. If the event has to be canceled due to force majeure, the organizer is not obliged to refund the fees. All tournament participants accept the conditions of participation and general rules.
General rules
Youth teams (u18 and younger)
Youth teams (u18 and younger) are only permitted to participate if they are supervised by a person of legal age during the entire tournament.
Insurance
Insurance for personal injury and property damage for tournament participants has not been taken out by the organizer. The organizer therefore accepts no liability for lost valuables, injuries or accidents. All team leaders must ensure that their players are adequately insured. We advise our participants and responsible persons not to leave any valuables or money unattended!
Smoking, alcohol and barbecues
Smoking, alcohol and barbecues are absolutely forbidden in the halls and accommodation, as the next tournament should not be jeopardized. Violations may result in exclusion from the tournament and/or the withholding of the deposit (accommodation).
Noise and disturbance of the peace
Noise and disturbance of the peace at night must be avoided. Residents have well-deserved days off over Whitsun. They should not be disturbed by avoidable noise. Dribbling with balls or throwing at basketball hoops after 22:00 is strictly prohibited. Violations may result in the temporary confiscation of basketballs, exclusion from the tournament and/or the withholding of the deposit (accommodation).
Photo & motion picture recordings
It is planned to take photos and videos during the tournament for legitimate interest. These recordings will be published on the club's own homepage, on Facebook and for the promotion of follow-up tournaments on other platforms such as in a basketball magazine and in social media such as Facebook etc.
Lost property
Lost property can be handed in to the hall management or the tournament management. The central issuing point for lost property is the tournament management office.
Medical care
The organizer assumes no liability for any injuries! All participants are responsible for their own medical care. A small first aid kit is available from the hall supervisor in the playing halls. Contact details for the fire department, nearby hospitals and emergency pharmacies are listed under emergency contacts.
